crossfire 2004 Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 After a false start due to a badly warped body in the first kit I opened, a second kit provided a better body. Build is basically box stock except some modifications to the rear suspension to the body lower and a set of Pegasus Supremes. Paint is Tamiya TS52 over a silver base and the cycle is from the AMT ‘29 woody/pickup kit. Far too much foiling for my liking, and the new sheet of BMF I bought for the build refuses to adhere to anything so the remains of an old sheet were pressed into service.
Geno Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Stuart, that turned out amazing. The color choice is spot on. Great job.
shoopdog Posted March 6, 2019 Posted March 6, 2019 Looks awesome! I love that Tamiya Candy Lime paint.
RAMBENNA Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 (edited) great job, great color, great build Edited March 7, 2019 by RAMBENNA
dino246gt Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 That looks very cool, nice choices, wheels, stance, color, bike, nice display piece!
espo Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 Great looking paint and paint finish. I like the stance. The Schwinn Sting Ray bike is neat. I remember the Goose Neck handle bars and the Banana seat.
Buffs Fan Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 I have this kit in my stash and had a few ideas on how how i was going to build it but now seeing yours I may have to rethink it Great job
Koellefornia Kid Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 Very nice build! Great color, cool wheels and I love the bike!
