i got this corvair in a box with 3 other models at a indoor  consignment fleamarket the guy i bought them from had put some  alternate modern car parts in the box with the 4 car models 2 mustangs and this corvair and a 70 coronet  superbee kit the guy said he got them at some model club's open to the public  swap meet  last january  

i  had to make new axel rods from a metal coat hanger  to accomadate the wheels i put on this corvair  i could not remove the stains  from the front and back windows either  i decided to paint it silver to look like bare metal  since i thought it woulds look cool

Nice save on your Corvair. There are several products at the auto parts stores for polishing the plastic head lights and tail lights on a 1:1 car. I have used them on kit windows that have been scratched and they worked great. Very fine grit and with light finger pressure they leave no scratches.

 thank you the stains on the front window is from glue  and i have no clue  what is on the back window

Very cool and just badass-looking stance. The fake side pipes (obviously hooked to nothing) remind me of George Barris. B):lol:

Come to think of it, I might have to build one of these and put it on a Camaro chassis, "just because."
