I saw one of these on display at Steamtown in Scranton PA. You don't realize how big they are until you're standing right next to them.

Thanks for posting these great videos. The sight and sounds of those steam trains brings back some great childhood memories of growing up in the 1940's. I lived about four blocks from  station and would ride my '48 Schwinn bike there and marvel at the shear power and massive size of those engines. Good stuff for those here of a certain age.

This Big Boy is in town this weekend, with Dad being a retired railroader, I've spent a good bit of time around trains, but this monster couldn't be more accurately named:o
