How many kits have been reissued?

How many different versions have been kitted ?

How many extra parts are still in the kit with no mention in the instructions?

Vacuum cleaners used to have spray attachments that (IIRC) were plugged into the exhaust tube; I once saw it referred to as a bug spray attachment.

Yes Chris I just called my old buddy Rick that is has been a body man for decades. He said he had or has in his barn something from Kirby. He goes to Hersey so he may have sold it.

Once the bodywork was done, the car was painted in a one off mix, copied from a Union 76 oil called Royal Triton Purple.

Very informative article about royal Triton Purple at that link:

My mistake Roth not Barris:P

Barris laid claim to a LOT of cars he never built. And withholding credit to those that DID!!! It's well known that he owned the Monkeemobile at one time - because of that, he claimed he built it. It was Dean Jefferies - Barris didn't have anything to do with it.

There a others, so many in fact, that I  now take his affiliation with any car as suspect.

I was rereading an old model car mag the other day that had an article by Barris. To my shock and amazement, he was giving credit for the design of one of "his" cars to someone else--and it wasn't one that I heard this about before. Unfortunately I can't recall at the moment which car or which other designer were mentioned, dernit.

You certainly nailed the topic at the top of the thread with the "Tweedy Pie" and all its variations.                                      How about the "Orange Crate"...think it was re released under the moniker "Chopped Deuce"...or something like that. Basically the same kit with a couple of minor tweaks...headlight shapes being one of them.                        And Revells classic '29 Model A Roadster / Cab pick up kit ....re released under the "Rat Rod" name...with wide white walled bigs and little for tires.
