Brutalform Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Wow. What a very nice looking model. I love the color scheme you used. I’m currently working on one of these, with a 426 max wedge. I hope mine looks half as nice as this one.
5500 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Gorgeous build! Have always thought that Johan really nailed the accuracy of everything they molded, even though they were not as detailed as other brands. They always look great built!
Peter Lombardo Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Beautiful..... one of my favorite cars from the early 60's. Nicely done.
moparfarmer Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 What paint did you use for the signal lites and head lights?
Fish_65 Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Great build Ludwig ! Not sure what you did to detail the grill and headlights, but they look awesome. It really makes it look realistic.
YBlock292 Posted June 9, 2019 Author Posted June 9, 2019 Thank You very much, guys! I appreciate Your comments! Wayne, I used a tiny bit of white, mixed with clear and a little bit of thinner to get a coat over the chromed headlights and signal lights. With a black washing I detailed the bezels around the headlights.
Wm David Green Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 This is something special, really nice finish.
