Dougboy Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Hello folks, Worked on this Ebbro Mclaren Honda for about 3 months on and off and this is my second completed F1 scale model. Paint is Tamiya TS40. Even though its debatably the "wrong color", I am more than happy with the outcome and I think its a good representation of Mclaren Predator Grey. . . . . . . . Two Mclarens, 24 years apart, both Honda powered, both driven by World Champions, one faired much better than the other
peter31a Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Beautiful build of that McLaren. Cool to see the both of them together showing the evolution over 24 years.
afx Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Great builds and interesting comparison on the evolution of F1 cars.
Tommy124 Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Beautiful work on both of them... 9 hours ago, Dougboy said: Two Mclarens, 24 years apart, both Honda powered, both driven by World Champions, one faired much better than the other Yap, Alonso's hybrid nightmare versus Senna's best ever car...
Jim N Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Great job on both! All of the aero on the new car looks daunting.
Dave Van Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Nice work!!! I'm working on two 79's era F1 Tamiya kits right now! Cool and clean build of a modern F1!
Turberticus Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Very nicely built! These Ebbro McLaren kits are very well done and pretty underrated, IMO.
