PierreR89 Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Calling this one done for now. Just going to order some other wheels and tires + stoneguard and bugshields some extra lights for the bullbar and see if i can find a better looking chain to have hanging on the bullbar. The pintjob is inspired from the Australian bicentennial Mack Superliners.
tbill Posted December 7, 2019 Posted December 7, 2019 Great looking wrecker! Nice combo of those two kits. can you put up a few more pics of the tow boom? It’s such an odd looking thing, I have a couple of those kits in my stash, would like to see more of the actual boom/bed layout, thanks .

The winchdrums could easily be modified so that they spin and work as on a real truck if you want to. They are seperate pieces. Here is the hingepoint for the boom arm when it is folded in for transport Could be movable if you dont use the moulded wire in the kit that i used.
tbill Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 Thank you so much for those additional pictures, now I understand the lay out . great build!

PierreR89 Posted August 4, 2020 Author Posted August 4, 2020 Now this wrecker is about 99.9% done. Still waiting on photoetch badges. Is has new tires, wheels bugshields, stoneguard, Mack bulldog, aux lighting on the bullbar and 4 extra aerials 2 on the bullbar and 1 on each mirror.
Jim B Posted August 4, 2020 Posted August 4, 2020 Looks nice. I noticed that you have an Australian windshield rock screen on a left-hand drive truck. Interesting.
