Another thing to ponder about these two excellent projects is the fact that neither one of these kits has been on the grocery store shelves in many years!

Thank you all so much for all of the wonderful comments!

I appreciate them immensely!

Wow Steve just WOW so realistic can I ask does the torsion bar hood on the Fury actually work ?

That depends on what you mean by "work" Dave. ;)

The hood will open and close, but the springs are basically free floating and will not hold the hood open.

Thanks Keith!

These 2 kits are very possibly the rarest that I have in my collection.

Along with the Johan '68 Olds 442 that I am working on at the moment, there is no doubt that the 3 of them are by far the most unique and hard to find kits that I own.

To be perfectly honest Dave, I did contemplate working out a way to make the springs functional during the course of the build, but never really came up with a viable solution. ^_^

Perfection takes time. ?  You should try a beater just for fun.

I'd love to see a Steve Guthmiller beater!!

I haven't built a modern kit in close to 10 years.

All of my vintage kits are worthy of full restorations.

My stomach couldn't handle a '68 Coronet R/T or '66 Dodge Monaco beater! ??

Besides, I have all of the fun that I can handle building factory stock, or close to it. ;)

These builds are outstanding! I don't know how you get the details so precise. Great subject matter, and execution!

Thank you Brad!

Much appreciated!

I have begun to resign myself to the fact that 2 or 3 projects per year has become my new normal.

I guess I can live with that. ^_^

Golly Steve, I wish I was cranking out 2-3... this past year I have been so stagnant its disgusting.

Those are some FANTASTIC builds... so clean!

The GTX looks like it needs me to hop in and drive it like I stole it, wich I would have to do because I definitely couldn't afford it!!

Hahaha my gaff... I had the car from Tommy boy on my mind when I saw the color... its clearly a fury!

Wow, I now feel dumb!

So, to rephrase ... that Fury looks looks like it needs me to hop in and drive it like I stole it, wich I would have to do because I definitely couldn't afford it!!

Besides... I'm not a mopar guy, get off my back! Lol!
