Nearly there with the Trabby 601 Pick-Up!

photo1-vi.jpg

To Do List. A few windows, door handles, rear view side mirrors, windscreen wipers, bumpers, number plates, inner wings and fix the body to the chassis.

It's really taking shape now.   Looking good!

Got these mirrors finished for my Boxster project.  The kit doesn’t come with any parts for the mirror glass, so I cut them out of very thin plastic sheet and foiled them.  Not perfect, but far better than nothing at all.

Those both look awesome Steve.  Great work.?

I’m really into that Nova.  I have a similar idea brewing.  I was thinking of taking two Ollie’s kits and doing something crazy with them, one of them being that Nova.  We’ll see.

Got some paint on the CBR1000 RR-R engine block. Two of my  favorite Tamiya LP colors titanium silver, and Mica Silver.

An old Tamiya VW Karmann Ghia, now lowered,  seats in and roll cage. Is it a salt speeder/rally car or what?

Looks like it's going to be prepared for the salt flats in Bonneville, Pat.

Trying out a new color. Its pearlized orange over a silver base. Almost looks copper. Cant wait to clear over it.

Yes another soooooper colour!

I picked up this ‘70 MPC Jeepster glue bomb yesterday, so this morning I did a little disassembly.  These parts are headed for the purple pond now.  It’ll probably be a while before I actually do anything else with this kit, but I want to see what I have to work with.

Notice the small army contingent in the background.  They were in the box with the Jeepster.  Must have been guarding it and keeping it safe for me!?

Been in a building slump, or just summer time but I have had this snap F150 kit and put it together. I just painted the chassis and interior and dull coated the headlights and wheels. I used some novus plastic cleaner and wax on the body. Fun quick build.

Primed my 71 Rally Nova project this afternoon. The wheels and tires are Zman items Ive had for awhile. The LS engine and 6 speed trans is from TX3d Customs with an Iceman Collections LS mid rise intake. I will be using an old set of Fred Cady Rally Nova decals I’ve had for years. Going to try to finish this one up before the end of the year.
