I just start another kit, open the box and prep some parts. I will open a tread soon.
At work I finished a car but cannot post a picture about that, you have to wait when the movie came out.

I've been working on these 2 on the down low. Just about finished the interior on the Ford. About to do some foiling on the Chevy

What's the car on the left?   Looks pretty cool.   Corvair?

Just finished polishing this one.  It’s molded in red, and bled through in a couple of areas, but I think I can live with it.  Still needs some detail painting, but it’s getting really close now.
Uh oh.  I better find an excuse to shelve it pretty quick, or I’ll break my streak of not finishing builds.?

Here’s a sneak peek mock up.

Looks like a really fun project!

The weather is really turning fast here.  So I’m trying to get at least one more paint job done before it’s too cold to shoot outside.  I finished the color coats on this one today.  I really need about two more weeks of good weather (doubtful) to get decals on and then shoot some clear coat.  So it may or may not get cleared yet this year.  Time will tell.

That's a Really nice bronze! Mind if I ask what paint it is?

Hey thanks!   It's Testors Extreme Lacquer Bronze straight from the can.   Sprays a little weird.   As I was shooting it,  I swear I could see metal flakes bouncing off the body and into the air.   But it came out fine.  That's the second time I've seen something like that from extreme lacquer.

Well, it looks really good! and It's not necessary to clear over your decals, unless you just want to..... I don't believe they were cleared over from the factory.

That's a good point.   Hmm...  I might change the plan a bit.

You weren’t seeing things, whenever I use that metallic paint, my booth is covered in flake….

sweet paint job by the way, color really looks good on that body.

I think I’ve shot five or six different colors from that line.  But the first time I  really noticed this was a week or two ago using the inca gold.

Nice work using the 3d printed master as the buck for the vac forming.  Smart idea!

Did a little detail painting on my Porsche project.  Also cleaned up these scripts on my GTX.  I am LOVING the foil under paint technique.  I wish I had discovered that trick long ago.
