afx
I like your choice of wire wheels Scott with the Michelin tires. Just as information HRM offers a very nice set of wire wheels and period Dunlop tires. Edited January 14, 2020 by afx

Twokidsnosleep
Super clean look there JC?? Classy wire weeks do suit this Cobra version I did a bit of interior work, some leather look for the seats with oil paint and a latex primer Edited January 14, 2020 by Twokidsnosleep

Twokidsnosleep
Had a snow day and came home early from work. Added some suede to the interior I have a steering wheel on order, hoping to make it a wooden rim look.

Cheers Dann I found a Sotheby listing and think this is the colour and style I will aim for. Thinking white primer, silver base coat and then a clear blue topcoat? Suggestions appreciated

beeRS
Great to see you giving an old model a whole new life Scott. I agree - there is something about the challenge of re-using old glue bombs. I like the wire wheels. Where did you get them from?

Twokidsnosleep
Got my order delivered yesterday from HRM. Hi Randy, this stuff looks great and good service!! These Halibrand wheels look good. Torn between wire spokes and the Hali's The engine details continue. I got a little distracted and wired her symmetrically left and right from the distributor...not sure what I was thinking. I have already made two distributor caps and don't relish the idea of re-doing all this so will likely leave it. heyjohnxx
If the plug wires really bother you, you could always rig up a boot such as the one used on Mustangs.

I am thinking those would look better on a hooligan American style A/C with black on black paint and outrageous headers. This girl is classy and needs classy shoes, not whore boots. Just joking here, the Halibrands are very nice and respectable mags
