Classicgas Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Revells kit. Started this some time ago. Modeled a specific car in a magazine but I can't find it anymore.
Scott8950 Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 that is absolutely beautiful!!! very nicely done.
Jim B Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Very nice looking GTX. I have one of these in the stash that I'd like to build eventually. Don't think it'll be as nice as yours, though. Very well done.
Hmann68 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Beautiful GTX, I’ve gotta get around to doing mine someday! Nicely done ??
Classicgas Posted January 14, 2020 Author Posted January 14, 2020 Thanks. Iirc the tires were from American Satco.
slusher Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Super nice and clean!! I really like the interior!
Dann Tier Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 What a beautiful car/build!!!...love this kit, and what you did with it, Bud!!!!
mikemodeler Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Interesting color combination, that brown doesn't do much for me but then again, the car manufacturers used to have some crazy colored interiors before they went with just three colors like today! Like the way you have the hood opened, any particular reason why you chose to have it that way?
Classicgas Posted January 17, 2020 Author Posted January 17, 2020 I was modeling a specific car I saw in a magazine article thus the color combination. I almost always display my models with hoods open. To me a lot of the beauty of a car is its mechanicals. One reason I have little love for modern cars. Everything is hidden.
beeRS Posted January 26, 2020 Posted January 26, 2020 This is beautiful. Very well done. Just out of curiosity, is this built with the hood permanantly glued in the up position? I've been thinking of doing that with some of my builds.
Classicgas Posted January 26, 2020 Author Posted January 26, 2020 Thanks! The hinges are glued to the hood but not glued to the body.
