Jantrix
Thanks very much guys. The real vehicle was the hero here. It's really unusual when you see something that grabs your attention like that, gets the creative juices flowing, and you realize, I HAVE ALL THE PARTS AVAILABLE, RIGHT THIS MOMENT, TO REPLICATE THAT! Usually it's a situation where, "well I need to buy this kit, to get that, or put a "wanted" online and hope someone has it, etc." and gather parts over a period of months. I literally had every part, or had near immediate access to it through local club members. A four month build is really pretty rare for me. Part of me is still sorry I didn't put a diesel in it, but I just couldn't justify the expense, when I had perfectly servicable engines in the stash. Sam I Am
I am glad to see this wrapped up. The way you caught the essence of the inspiration truck is spot on. I was following this build in particular because of a truck my friend built.
Jantrix
Thanks Sam, I'm glad you like it. I'd have to change some things on your firends GMC, but it's a cool truck.

Jantrix
I don't usually bring up my older posts but I was able to find and contact the builder/owner of the 1:1 that inspired the model, via Instagram. He was very impressed. It was a good feeling.
