I see this kit available for a very decent price, and aside from the oddball scale, is it a decent kit? I can find virtually no information about it.

Thanks a bunch, fellas,

As already stated, it's basically a 1/25 scale promo model, miniaturized a bit.  Two-piece plastic tires, but also a one-piece body, plated parts, clear windows...better than most 1/32 scale car kits.

I have one and really like the kit, started to customize one about 3 weeks ago, I even swapped the tires and hub caps from the 1/32 Stingray on it too..........now if the weather would warm up enough to start laying down primer............................?

ideal for putting next to a sixties 1/32nd scale fighter jet, R2 should've advertised it in model plane mags....

I plan to pick up the '63 'vette in the series to put next to my Phantom jet

You may want to do extra work on the Vette though Luc, I've got a few pics of that kit on my T-Bird thread above and the front and rear valences are part of the chassis instead of the body.  I'm planning on cutting those off and blending them to the body once I get the mounting figured out for the Revell Lowrider wheels and tires.

No problem Joe, did the same with my 1/25th scale amt Opel GT kit, it's also getting new footwear, one of those tuner (forgot the brand, but were designed by accurate miniatures IIRC) wheel/tire sets I picked up in the US years ago...

I like the AMT 1/32nd kits..I like the scale, started out with 1/32nd Revell and Lindberg snap kits as a kid in the 70s.   I hope Round 2 eventually reissues some of the AMT 1/43rd scale kits..have a few '70s/80s issues of them from childhood.

I'm sure I could drum up something here (I have piles of aviation related models), perhaps an F-86 or something. Good idea.

Hmmm, I've been working with my grandson on some snap kits, and maybe those AMT 1/32  kits would be good for him to start working on "glue kits?"

Could be. Aside from the oddball scale, at least the price is right, even for me.

If and when anyone ever releases a 1:32 F-102, I'll be all over it.

I'd be happy with a new-tool F-102 in 1/48. The Monogram kit was nice for its era, but life is far too short to spent on rescribing panel lines and fixing poorly-placed ejector pin marks.

Me too, though I'd really prefer 1:32. The Meng 1:72 kits are supposed to be pretty decent and they do both Case X and Case XX wings.
