Looked through dozens and dozens of cars, and spotted this oddball. If you want to do something different with the Trumpeter '64 Ranchero, you could take a whack at it:

espo Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Looks as if someone spliced a portion of a Falcon wagon into the center of the bed and cab. The back seat looks as if it came from a Falcon wagon and they used the rear bulkhead of the Ranchero in the bed.

alan barton Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Brian, did you notice that the Argentinian Ranchero is actually based on an Aussie Ute? They had a whole range of cars based on the Aussie Falcons and then continued updating them with contemporary grille styling and interiors for many many years. If you study your photo you will see it has a four door front door and the reduced overhang of the Aussie ute. We didn't do the crew cab conversion, however. Cheers Alan

The Argentinian Rancheros weren't introduced until 1973, and had rear end styling that was similar to Ford's truck line of the time. http://www.todofalcon.com.ar/galranchero.htm Argentinian crewcabs were done by coachbuilders, which were also building nifty crewcabs and utilities based on their half-ton pickups. These were not seen elsewhere on the globe either. Argentinian Falcon wagons (known as "Rural") were based on the sedan, and were also completely different from their Australian cousins.
