Another Curtis Turner Racecar destined for his museum in Roanoke, Virginia

!966 Chevrolet Impala he raced for Toy Bolton at the Bristol Motor Speedway July 24, 1966.

Started on the pole, finished 30th - engine failure.

Paint is Chevrolet Ermine White, from Scalefinishes. Decals are from "Mike's Decals".

Nice work on the model..If Curtis Turner had a car with a motor that wouldn't blow up, it usually ended up in winner's circle..Run it till it blows is the way he and Buddy Baker drove..

Beautiful build Curt! I recently found out Curtis was my paternal grandfathers cousin. I got excited and bought several  decal sets to build. Did you use the SS kit or the stocker? Or a combination of the two?

I used the recently issued kit from Revell
