leafsprings
Very impressive work! Great choice to convert to a 4x4. When I redo my frame, I will incorporate your upgrades.
dino246gt
Got the stance set where I want it, or actually where it had to be to make everything fit, just a mock up to see how it'll look:
Biggu
This is really cool, the paint on the rims and hubs is spot on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
rkeel
Outstanding work! You're making me want to get another 60 to build like that as a companion to my jacked up 4x4 Flareside!
dino246gt
So I used a Mobius block, but switched the transmission and oil pan to the proper parts from Fireball, then added heads, intake and valve covers from AMT's '60 Starliner. Those old pickups had a single exhaust with a front crossover so I had to make that, and I used a clear red sprue, plus some styrene scraps cut into flange shapes and some tiny plastic railroad nuts and bolts, so here that is so far, of course much finishing is still required but it's starting to look like a vintage truck engine: (I know that it's not really accurate, but I'm happy with it)
leafsprings
Engine looks great. The colors are correct for '59 thru '64, black block with reddish orangey valve covers. Granny speed behind a 292 in 4 low will plow up any hill.

leafsprings
Super impressive detailing! You went above and beyond of what this kit was originally. I appreciate all the extra  engine, drive train and body work that went into this one.
