Well done Kurt!

I was eyeing some of Fernando's kits on eBay. At least I now know what it takes to make them look really good. Lots of tweaking!  I would say, even more challenging than AMT kits.  :D But you were up to the challenge!

I check out his listings on occasion.  He has a Fakebook page, know there is a future subject I have to get.

Finished last night.  Took glamor shots today, will post in Under Glass later.  Here is a shot of the engine.  Don't look too close, I did not drill the distributors to glue in the wires. ?

I know Tamiya (Fujimi, Aoshima, Italeri, etc.) will never produce this subject, so for being a 100% hand built kit, with 89.75 hours spent scratch-building many parts and getting everything to fit, I'm glad to have in the display case.  ?

Kurt, that model looks awesome!   The subject matter is fascinating, isn't it?  I built the 1/32 scale Matchbox model this year and did the research and enjoyed reading about the cars as much as building the kit.  I never liked these before but now, a higher appreciation of the engineering involved.

You have some deep patience and are rewarded with a nice model to show.

Hi, Steve. Not to hijack this thread, but, what are your thoughts on the Matchbox kit?

Straightliner59.  Not bad really, check out my new best of 2020 thread I have a picture of it in there.  I am new here, so don't have build up details, but if you can get one, it is not NEARLY as difficult as Kurt's trials and tribulations here!  :)

I really like your D, there was some evolution in one generation.  The book I got only mentioned that in the last page.  Thank you very much.
