I always thought the'49 /'50 Olds looked a bit bulky through the centre of the body, so I decided to build a sectioned and cleaned up version to see the difference.I took a scale 3inch section from the widest part of the body so the re-alignment would be easier .I used 1951 Chevy headlights frenched in, removed the chrome trim &door handles and cut down the tail lights. I've kept the identity of the car but I think it looks much sleeker now.

Very sleek looking with the sectioning of the body. You bended everything back together in way that you almost can't tell what was done. The headlights clean up the front fenders well.
