Don't have any idea what this is, much less what it is worth, but most times, the individual kits are worth more separately than they are combined.

DeAgostini  is a UK company that specialises in large scale model kits either complete or as a part series. There is an equivalent company Eaglemoss in the USA I believe doing much the same thing.

I think DeAgostini is an Italian company...and we have them here.

Their US office is maybe 5 miles from me...

Could be right Jim. I expect DeAgostini have offices all over.

Did a quick calculation of the cost of the Jag E Type in the UK built from the part series.............Approximately £900.00 Sterling.

Yep! That's a little too steep for me also... If he really wants to sell those, he'd lower the price way down to 500.00 for the set... Even that is too expensive....

Someone just sold a set for $1899.99 - not list, SOLD.  So yes his is substantially too high, but your price is 3x too low...

Only real interest I had in that series was the engines, which I managed to snag long ago for not-insane money.

Had to get 'em both so's I could do a blown 392 in a '34 Ford drag car.

Kinda wish now I'd picked up the chassis and bodies too, but they're not anything I'll be after in the foreseeable future...
