SfanGoch Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Why don't you just post a link? Makes things a lot simpler.
Pete J. Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Don't have any idea what this is, much less what it is worth, but most times, the individual kits are worth more separately than they are combined.
Deuces ll Posted August 20, 2020 Author Posted August 20, 2020 (edited) It's the complete set of Aurora "Racing Scenes" all brand new and sealed in 9 boxes... Sorry for posting the link.... My bad.. ? Edited August 20, 2020 by Deuces ll
Bugatti Fan Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 (edited) DeAgostini is a UK company that specialises in large scale model kits either complete or as a part series. There is an equivalent company Eaglemoss in the USA I believe doing much the same thing. Edited August 20, 2020 by Bugatti Fan

Bugatti Fan Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 (edited) Could be right Jim. I expect DeAgostini have offices all over. Did a quick calculation of the cost of the Jag E Type in the UK built from the part series.............Approximately £900.00 Sterling. Edited August 20, 2020 by Bugatti Fan
Daddyfink Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 (edited) Just right click, copy and paste Seller is also quite proud of his other sale items. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1-16-Aurora-Racing-Scenes-Complete-Collection-/184348852231 Edited August 20, 2020 by Daddyfink
Deuces ll Posted August 20, 2020 Author Posted August 20, 2020 Sorry, I don't have a computer.... ?? All I have is this cheesy Fierce A-30 cell phone....
unclescott58 Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Well. There is $3,800 I will not be spending. To me it's not worth 1/10th of that.
Deuces ll Posted August 21, 2020 Author Posted August 21, 2020 Yep! That's a little too steep for me also... If he really wants to sell those, he'd lower the price way down to 500.00 for the set... Even that is too expensive....

So yes his is substantially too high, but your price is 3x too low...
Ace-Garageguy Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Only real interest I had in that series was the engines, which I managed to snag long ago for not-insane money. Had to get 'em both so's I could do a blown 392 in a '34 Ford drag car. Kinda wish now I'd picked up the chassis and bodies too, but they're not anything I'll be after in the foreseeable future...
