Lindberg 63 Mustang ll concept

Started this a few days ago . Fair it with a few fit problems so far . Painted red ( no clear yet ) . Being built stock .

This is my second attempt at this kit. The first time was many years ago, lets just say it did not go well.

Sometimes I think you are raiding my closet for kits.  ?  But seriously I forgot about the fastback roof that came with the kit.  Other than that and the color will you make and other mods (like different wheels or tires?  I built one box stock in many year ago and the fit is typical of IMC kits from that area.  At least Lindberg reissued some of the older kits as finding an original one can be pricey.

YOu have to hand to IMC for making a kit with opening doors and a trunk in this scale which is till not the case with most kits 50+ years later.

I did by a set of Pegasus wheels and tires for this kit but it would have required a lot of work to make them fit so I decided not to use them . I will go through my tire stash and see what I maybe can come up with . Failing that I will use one of the two options the kit provides .

I had a built one that came with some other models. Parts had fallen off. So I decided to at least put it back together. It wasn't that easy to do.

Thanks Carl. I used the Krylon Short Cuts red. It' ok but just ok. It was the only red I had at the time.
