Hello, friends of model building,

here is a work from Germany. Getting this kit was not easy for me. Imported goods. I had to order it from England. American kits are hard to find here in Germany.
Something about the model: It was my first two tone painting. Didn't turn out that bad? The pick-up is unfortunately closed all around the windows, so you can't see the genuine leather seats. To bad! The exhaust pipes are made of stainless steel, 3 x 1 mm. The loading area has got real wood. Ship planks from a model builder friend. I hope you like it a little? I would appreciate a little comment. Thanks.

Always....... Greetings from Germany.?

Great looking paint job and I like the signage on the door. Would like to have seen the interior. I left the side glass out of one I built for that reason. The real wood bed is a good idea.

Very beautiful rendition of a classic Ford pickup, one of the original F-series.  Really like the subtlety of the two tone paint job.  Clean overall build. Thanks for sharing it.

Very nice build on one of my favorite kits!  I’ve built three so far. I like the color scheme and overall look of your model.

One remark, see the hood side trim in the photo above. You have reversed the trim. The Ford logo goes to the front. But you did complete the arc up front in yours so it looks custom and right!

Also, something everyone has done, even on mine.. see the body color between the Ford emblem and the bars. The kit has this area as part of the chrome part. Everyone leaves it, I will fix this on my next one.

With side glass, I cut the vent window away and used just that, avoiding the closed windows.  You can do that next time.
