Well , after a long time and a lot of cussing this kit , it is finally finished. Not proud of the hand cut out wind screen but it is OK and mirrors were a bitch.
Here she is.

Thanks so much Ray. I wanted one of the Lotus for my collection but it was not a fun kit !!!

I am 68 and reaching that point of not being able to build them.

A great looking build , you have done real nice work  as these are not easy to do . I really like the 1/43 builds , I am working on a few Starter kits myself at the moment .

Man that looks great! I have built some 1/43rd kits when I was younger but wouldn't want to do one now. You've still got it covered even at 68!

Well , I guess that is why I am once again doing some building and still enjoy it . It is a break from the Model Railroading and working on my Mustang.

Thank You Tony, Mike

stunning build.  I have a hankerin to tackle the MFH 67 Gurney Eagle F1, but I don't know if my 65 year old eyes and fingers can handle it.. sure wish someone did the Eagle in 24/25th...

Looks good.  I just finished a SMTS Lotus Cortina that would be a whole lot easier to build than an Indy/F1 1/43 but I still thought I would quit multiple times.  Great job again

Wow!  Do you like the winters a bit better in New Mexico?  Btw Valpo is 73 and sunny today and of course it will be changing next week.   Great job on the 1/43.  I have built them for years so enjoy when someone posts a finished kit.

Have a good winter!   It has been warm here but now down in the 40-50's.
