Getting back to work on the 50's resin tanker, took a break from this build once the tractor was completed.  Trailer is made up of two pieces that connect together, the front half is pretty good just required some sanding, the back half had some low spots that need attention, beginning to do the putty work.

Is the trailer scratch built or did you have something to start from?

It looks like a trailer from Keystone Aluminum Model Miniatures now defunct, they did a few different versions of the "Duel" trailer, single and dual axle.

Great outcome!  All of the putty work came out flawless here.  And I like the color and tone too, gives that classic feel.

Did you fab up that hood scoop?

Was an ebay resin piece marketed as a Pontiac Super Duty scoop, however, did not come with a front vent.
