Zippi Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 I like the older trucks and your is coming along nicely.
leafsprings Posted November 12, 2023 Author Posted November 12, 2023 Getting back to work on the 50's resin tanker, took a break from this build once the tractor was completed. Trailer is made up of two pieces that connect together, the front half is pretty good just required some sanding, the back half had some low spots that need attention, beginning to do the putty work. 2
Gary Chastain Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 Is the trailer scratch built or did you have something to start from?

It looks like a trailer from Keystone Aluminum Model Miniatures now defunct, they did a few different versions of the "Duel" trailer, single and dual axle.
leafsprings Posted November 17, 2023 Author Posted November 17, 2023 Correct Hakan, a Keystone piece.
leafsprings2 Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Finally got a coat of paint and decals after a long break. 2
BK9300 Posted February 27 Posted February 27 The body work on your tanker sure looks smooth under your paint - great job! 1
cifenet Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Great outcome! All of the putty work came out flawless here. And I like the color and tone too, gives that classic feel. 1
Bainford Posted February 28 Posted February 28 This is looking great. Great period piece. That's going to look cool hooked up to the old Ford. 1
