Dave Darby Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Nice job on a kit that is difficult to get looking good!
stitchdup Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Nicely done Phillip, i think this is the first time I've seen one of these done and looking good
philo426 Posted November 22, 2020 Author Posted November 22, 2020 Thanks!I had to do some work on it and add a full V-12 engine!
BeakDoc Posted November 22, 2020 Posted November 22, 2020 Beautiful Lincoln! I’ve pulled that kit from my stash, opened it, looked at it and put it back so many times that the ink is wearing off the box. LOL. Seeing that it can be built remarkably well might be the motivation needed to keep it on the bench next time.
philo426 Posted November 22, 2020 Author Posted November 22, 2020 (edited) Takes some work but it can be done! Edited November 22, 2020 by philo426

thatz4u Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 nicest build of that kit I've seen, well done....
philo426 Posted November 24, 2020 Author Posted November 24, 2020 Thanks!when I started it I was concerned about how well it would turn out!
bisc63 Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Hats off to you for building this beast. Heck, hats off to you for even starting this beast. This kit is the bane of my existence; it is my Moby Dick, my Darth Vader, and some hybridized thing even worse than either. It is Darth Dick, and is the reason my eyes twitch and my heart skips a beat before I open any model kit box now. It promises much more than it can deliver, but you have managed to whip it into an actual car model. You are my hero. You can build ANYTHING!
Sledsel Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Looks really good. Difficult kit to get looking good, but you did it.

philo426 Posted December 17, 2020 Author Posted December 17, 2020 I took two flat head V-8s and cut one in half with a razor saw then joined them together to make a 12!
