This is a Christmas present to my dear older brother.  This is the '66 Pontiac GTO that he owned in high school...many years ago.  A fun build with a few extras added.  The kit is Revell's '66 GTO.  The engine was made to be a '67 Pontiac 400 single 4bbl which he installed.  Plug wires were added as was interior carpet and a few photo etch pieces.  The kit rims were replaced with the Crager's he had.  Headlights, tail lights and dash are all illuminated with LEDs.  The vinyl roof and its chrome trim was added in by me.  Paint is most flat black with the 3 "primer" spots that were present on the car.  License plate is correct and done through PhotoShop.  Rear bumper even has his high school parking permit sticker.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Spectacular Goat ! The lighting really sets it off nicely ; perfect addition to a black primer with black interior .

Thankfully your bro's GTO was a '66 , otherwise you'd have to work with that hunk o' junk AMT '65 , or the equally-abhorrent MPC '67 ! Haha !

Great idea for a present. I also have enjoyed doing replicas of old long gone cars and found it is a good way to remember a point in time. Your build looks great and I like the clean engine and the wheels.

Hi Glenn, what a fantastic build! Love the working lights, especially the dash lights, very nice touch. I’m sure your brother is thrilled.
Cheers, Steve
