Finished up what I'm sure is my last build of 2020...

This was for a buildoff on FB. Did some subtle customizing, but stayed within the rules.

I cut off all the bumper mounts. Raised the front bumper to the grill and deleted the back bumper completely. Lowered the suspension as low as it would go without scratchbuilding anything. Oh and you guessed it... It was green, like all the rest this year.

Oddly enough, I ended 2020 with the same kit I started it with...

As always, thanks for looking... Happy New Year and on to the next....

Great looking pair of trucks. Except for the white walls the first one look just like the truck that has been sitting in my barbers yard for as long as I have been going there. Very realistic looking finishes.

Really enjoyed all of your green trucks, so what color will it be in 21?

I think I'm gonna try to make a couple of shiny ones to see if I still can... then back to weathering I suppose. Maybe green cars this time? lol.

I have been messing with different colors a little along to see what trips my trigger.

Both pickups look great! This year I built three green 1950 Chevy pickups!

I get stuck on color too. For the Jeep I just finished I couldn’t picture it in any color so I left it to chance.  I went to the store the other day and decided that I’d paint it to match the first Jeep I saw. As I waited at the stop sign to get out of my neighborhood, an orange Jeep drove by. And that’s what I did!

Cool trucks! Nice Job! I love these 60s chevy Trucks. Owned 5 real ones when I was younger, drove a 65 shortbed in high school.
