Flynlo Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 As so many have said, WOW!!! Your attention to detail is actually a design study of how a 1:1 fuctioning version could be built. Thanks for sharing!
unclescott58 Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 Kool! Not my cup of tea, but I'm impressed. Great work.
Earl Marischal Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 A staggering piece of workmanship. The metalwork is particularly impressive. steve
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 Phenomenal! I say it looks way better than the Devilish.
AmericanMuscleFan Posted December 31, 2020 Posted December 31, 2020 That's what I was talking about, a hidden gem now accessible to the world! We must admit that it takes more than a simple overview to fully appreciate the work of a master to deliver a model of this caliber... I like your enthusiasm for what I do, but you create, I reproduce... At the very end, a qualifier comes to mind; unbelievable! I am very grateful to have met you here on this forum my friend and I can only take my hat off Tim, I have nothing better to offer... ?

Yes, but Francis, your reproductions are perfect miniatures in every way and can be measured against actual full size parts to prove it. My creations are the product of artistic license. They have nothing to measure them against, so I have a lot more leeway to apply a fudge factor. If we had a full size shop building full size cars, I could be concept, and you could be execution. Keep your hat Francis. It’s getting cold outside.

Mike Williams Posted January 6, 2021 Posted January 6, 2021 Mercy! Such a wonderful build! I can easily write to have never seen such a creation before. Tim, I've seen your finished car elsewhere, although here, it just got better! The build procedures are visually new to me for this car, lots of serious brass work shown...this needs for sure a closer look! Innovation and expertise would be the magic words. Amazing and sensational the outcome. Welcome friend, to this forum. Mike..

Too often, a lot of fine work gets overlooked because it gets hidden inside, or underneath. At least here, we can peal off the layers, and expose the highlights. As a former national contest administrator, and judge, I have spent hours and hours with flashlights and magnifying glasses, pouring over some of the best built models at the time, and it is extremely difficult to notice everything. This is like a build book.
