hedotwo Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Second of my recent Edsel rebuilds. This one was overall ok, except for the hood/fenders being misshapen by tons of glue being used to attach the tub/windshield, and a previous skirt removal that left some script damage. Tires and correct wheel covers were needed as well. The fender gunsights were gone so I used the original mounts with homemade rings. Paint is Tamiya TS-26 Pure White and Tamiya TS-41 Coral Blue. 1
doorsovdoon Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 That looks beautiful! I love the colour combo. Excellent save, I got to say, that's one of the nicest looking Edsels I've seen. Very nice.
espo Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Great restoration. A lot of body work on the hood and front fenders and the paint finish on this looks great. 0
charlie8575 Posted January 10, 2021 Posted January 10, 2021 Very well-done. The colors are perfect for it. Charlie Larkin

Stef Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Fantastic rescue, @hedotwo. She's as clean and fresh as any AMT 58 Pacer. FLAWLESS VICTORY.
Nxr Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 This is the edsel i wish they made a lot of like the 58 kit, this one is very good looking the 58 is hideous, many of you build it so well but that front end is probably the reason edsel didn't last too long. the 60 was good looking too though.
Grumpa Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 WOW! Another incredible save Rich! The "Model Gods" are smiling! Fantastic work...love the paint combo!
