landman Posted March 9, 2021 Author Posted March 9, 2021 Thanks guys. Found an old rad in the parts bin that was big enough to suit the application. Cut off the remnants of the shroud and made a new one. Notched the rad to drop in place in the frame. Added wiring to the 348.

Big John Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 And the bacardi 151, great for stripping paint I hear. You're going to need tire chains for that GMC car hauler! S0, is that 300 miles as the sturgeon flies?

slusher Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 I really hope everything goes smoothly and safe Pat. I going to miss your shop posts.

We were lucky and found a relatively nice home. One glitch though, the closing dates don't jive so we have to store everything for 10 days, load and unload twice.
slusher Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 That a beautiful house.. that’s a lot of lifting but I’m sure it’s worth it..
landman Posted March 28, 2021 Author Posted March 28, 2021 Thanks. We have two strong young men at each end to do the lifting. They load and unload a 26' U-Haul in a couple of hours. It would take me all day and I wouldn't be able to move for the next three.?
Mopar - D Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Pat how many models are you having to pack up to make your move?

gotnitro? Posted March 29, 2021 Posted March 29, 2021 Pat - nice looking new home good to hear your not having to lift and move everything multiple times . My ML is selling the family farm and looking for much smaller place , luckily she's been down sizing the past yr and won't be as much to pack

landman Posted May 26, 2021 Author Posted May 26, 2021 The stuff is in its new quarters, mostly unpacked but far from sorted out. The display cabinet wouldn't make it around the bend in the basement stairs so I cut off the black bottom part (see the March 28 post). We're going to rig up some legs for it and stick it in the basement hallway.
Big John Posted May 26, 2021 Posted May 26, 2021 Space... The final frontier! Half the fun is figuring out just the right spot for that dohicki that you could never find back in the old place.
slusher Posted May 27, 2021 Posted May 27, 2021 you could put acrylic cases on the wall. I love mine and I have three shelves with stacked AMT cases..
