landman Posted October 2, 2021 Author Posted October 2, 2021 Thanks guys. Here's a sneak preview. I forgot to add body edge moldings before painting. I an debating whether to add the black to the cab. And I lost my 1/64 tape in the move somehow. So I may just paint the belt moding black instead.
gotnitro? Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 either way would look good on your hauler ! 1
kilrathy10 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Still looks quite good... Great job... Excellent paint work.... I'm with Jeff... This will look awesome, either way... 1
landman Posted October 9, 2021 Author Posted October 9, 2021 Black reveal molding done. Well not quite, touch ups required.....as usual.
landman Posted October 15, 2021 Author Posted October 15, 2021 Added the glass, door handles and grille to the cab.
landman Posted October 18, 2021 Author Posted October 18, 2021 Added headlight lenses and slam lock latches to storage compartments.
gotnitro? Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 Wow , that small black accent sets off the cab . The addition of the chrome headlights and handles really looks good
landman Posted October 21, 2021 Author Posted October 21, 2021 Decided to add a molding on top of the bodysides.
Mopar - D Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Nice touch Pat that’s going to look good. Are you going to paint it or chrome it? 1

landman Posted October 23, 2021 Author Posted October 23, 2021 9 hours ago, slusher said: Looks great Pat, what did you use for the cable?? Carl, I used 7 strand beading wire. While it provides the proper effect it is not easy to work with as it is stiff. So you smear CA on the drum, wind several turns and clamp, and so on.
landman Posted October 25, 2021 Author Posted October 25, 2021 Painted the body molding, added tail and marker lights as well as the winch.
landman Posted October 28, 2021 Author Posted October 28, 2021 Added the bumper. Other than the license plates I consider it done. Thanks for watching.
