keyser Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 (edited) This is for die cast and resin cast cars that haven’t been shown here for the most part. Here’s a couple starters. An Automodello Duesenberg Mormon Meteor, and a Spirit of America limited run recast based off the hand cast dozen given to Goodyear and Shell execs at the time of record run. Both 1/24th. Gramps46 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 (edited) Ok, since you introduced Automodello and invited us to jump in here goes. Automodello Mustang 1. I am really enjoying exploring your models on display. Some of my favorites are the Alfas. Thanks for posting them. Edited February 16, 2021 by Gramps46

I have not pulled the trigger on the Mustang II which is only in 1/24 scale. I have the Mustangs I and the Avenue 43 Mustang Milano and the Autocult Mach 2 in 1/43. I forgot about the Cobra based concept - here are two in 1/43 and the Mustang I. Edited February 17, 2021 by vamach1
Gramps46 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 I rounded up 3 more seldom seen 1/24 diecasts to share. NEO 1949 Cadillac Series 62 Club Coupe. Paul's Model Art Karmann Ghia Leo Models 1963 Alfa Romeo TZ-1
keyser Posted February 17, 2021 Author Posted February 17, 2021 Cool Mustangs esp Milano and Bordinat. Mk3 cool reminded me of opel gt notchback show car. PMA Ghia, haven’t seen in decades. Leo, White Box, Burago seem to have been reissuing the QR cars. Blue TZ1 is same as my red one. There’s a 33 Stradale red with gold wheels. 2900 coupe too. Neo Cad nice. I have Don’s kit but it’ll not get done soon. Cool stuff, glad you hopped in here guys.
Gramps46 Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 (edited) Not sure how I got hooked on Alfas but here are the ones I have so far in 1/24th scale. Sure would like to add some more racing versions. Edited February 17, 2021 by Gramps46 1
keyser Posted February 17, 2021 Author Posted February 17, 2021 Like the Black MM coupe and the Villa d’Este. Need a black mint 2900 roadster too. 2 Lawnchairs snuck in but in family now?. I need 8C but I forget. The 1750 a QR or a Heller? I wish they did the Zagato 1750. I had to draw line at sedans with AR. Need a die cast GTA too. QR did a Tin-tin B20 coupe but off scale, I think it was posted here. Nice stuff Gary.
Big John Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Thanks for sharing your fantastic collection CL. Some real gems. I love the little blue Alpha coupe by QR and the Spirit of America! I am attempting to repurpose an old Wen Mac Spirit that come close to 1/24th but would really wish there were one available done properly. Your photo has some good reference potential. Pardon my silly question but for us uninitiated what is the QR brand? Thanks again.
