Venom Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 This one lap around the 13 mile Nurburgring “North loop” just might blow your mind.
Roger U Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 That's a cool video. Thanks for posting it.
JollySipper Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 That's moving! Do they let more than one class of car on the 'Ring at the same time? They passed a couple of slower cars.......

They still have manufacturer test days too. 8 mins though is fast but there are many faster cars. Here a sub 8 min mk1 golf
Matt Bacon Posted February 22, 2021 Posted February 22, 2021 Fastest road legal production car is an AMG GT Black Series in 6’44”, which must REALLY be shifting! best, M.
afx Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 (edited) The RUF CTR Yellowbird might be the most infamous lap. The shots outside the car at about the 12:30 mark are impressive. Edited February 23, 2021 by afx
iamsuperdan Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 It still blows my mind that the 'ring is both a legal toll road and a racetrack. And that literally anyone, in anything, can go for a drive there. Porsche or Ferrari? No problem. Ford station wagon? no problem. Greyhound bus or Kenworth? No problem.

The RUF Yellowbird is possibly the most impressive of all the Nurburgring runs since it is such an incredibly hard car to handle at speed like that. And while we’re at it, this Camaro run has got to be near the top of the list also

Its classed as a public road mate, but if you happen to have a crash you are responsible for paying the tracks lost earnings and armco repairs.
