That's moving! Do they let more than one class of car on the 'Ring at the same time? They passed a couple of slower cars.......

Its open to the public TJ. Anybody can take any car or tour bus on it for around $25 a lap. They still have manufacturer test days too. 8 mins though is fast but there are many faster cars. Here a sub 8 min mk1 golf

The RUF CTR Yellowbird might be the most infamous lap.  The shots outside the car at about the 12:30 mark are impressive.

It still blows my mind that the 'ring is both a legal toll road and a racetrack. And that literally anyone, in anything, can go for a drive there.  Porsche or Ferrari? No problem. Ford station wagon? no problem. Greyhound bus or Kenworth? No problem.

Yes! The RUF Yellowbird is possibly the most impressive of all the Nurburgring runs since it is such an incredibly hard car to handle at speed like that.

And while we’re at it, this Camaro run has got to be near the top of the list also

That's amazing! I thought it was just for sanctioned events, like our Laguna Seca or similar course......

Its classed as a public road mate, but if you happen to have a crash you are responsible for paying the tracks lost earnings and armco repairs.
