Justin Porter Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 This was a fun little "refresher" build of another classic Tamiya sports car kit. The paint is Tamiya Pearl White under Testors Wet Look Clear while the interior is Vallejo Model Air 71.102 Red. The inspiration for the color scheme was a certain level of boredom with French Blue Alpines and a love of the later Alpina GTA Turbos which always seemed to be in that stark pearl white so common of 80's supercars. I'm super happy with the build because it really came to right from how I imagined it.
Bainford Posted April 12, 2021 Posted April 12, 2021 Nice build. I love these little Alpines. Looks good in white.
64Comet404 Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Really good looking build, wish Tamiya would do more vintage pieces.
doubleyoung2003 Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 just build this kit couple weeks ago...?the color you choose is just right!!nicely done!!?
Chuckyg1 Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 I've always wanted to build this kit, but couldn't find one at a decent price. Yours is really nice. I like the color choice. It looks cool. Well done.
Spottedlaurel Posted April 15, 2021 Posted April 15, 2021 Very nice build of such a delicate kit, and great to see it in a different colour.
MeatMan Posted April 17, 2021 Posted April 17, 2021 Awesome job! That is a very nice kit. I built one a couple of years ago.
