So I'm lookin for some input. Got the black done on the stocker. Now I can't decide. Chrome rims or green rims. Some input please!! and Thanks

Chrome rims look out of place particularly on a dirt track car IMHO.

I kinda like the green. The chrome would be good with a black-wash though

Most run the black wheels, but the green goes with the paint job.

Nice project so far, Joel.  I am a big fan of dirt trackers and like using NASCAR kits as a basis - just this morning I scored an unopened AMT at a toy fair for $10 so i am very happy with that.

As for the wheels, hands-down the green.  As others have said, it would be extremely unusual to see a chromed wheel at the speedway, dirt track at least, and it loses that home grown, small town racer look.  If the green isn't working for you, I would try out red, orange, yellow or white for a different look.  Hey, it's only paint!

So after gettin some decals on it, realized the green wheels were the way to go. The sponsor decals are inkjet that I had left from an old build of a buddies 4 cylinder mustang that I built. I also helped him build the 1:1 car.  I had help on this build as well. (grandson) gives me a lot of input ?. Waiting on some geofer racing hometown sponsors decals just to add a few more. As always thanks for looking. Will post again when completed.

Looks very good.  The wheel color choice seems entirely appropriate, while the Hoosier sidewall markings also look the business.  Thanks for sharing...

I vote for the yellow. Save the Chrome rims for a street machine!
