Jay Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 This was built using the 90 Monogram Lumina kit. I tried to duplicate the Daytona 500 camera car that ran in the actual race. The camera pods were made out of aluminum tube with stuffed animal eyes for the lenses. The paint is House of Kolor Honey orange, which is what was used on the real car. The decals are from Powerslide. 4
larman Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Really nice work! This is such a great paint scheme. The Days of Thunder cars were so cool, especially this one and the City Chevrolet car.
TonyK Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 That's a great looking model and I like the unique "camera car" subject you chose.
Draggon Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 (edited) Dang that's nice. I love how you've got the stance dialed in. Pretty impressive paintwork and photography too! Edited April 23, 2021 by Draggon
ABNSPR Posted April 30, 2021 Posted April 30, 2021 Very nice and very interesting to make the actual camera car.
Silver Foxx Posted May 9, 2021 Posted May 9, 2021 A top class build , the stance , paintwork , decaling , everything so right .
Rattlecan Dan Posted January 10 Posted January 10 An absolutely beautiful build. Love the detail of the fuel grime at the rear, and the whole car is beautifully detailed. Great job!
spencer1984 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Wow - glad this got bumped, I had missed it before. Excellent work!
OldSkool81 Posted February 23 Posted February 23 I don't think the real-life movie cars ever even looked that good!
