I airbrush craft paints for 90% of my interiors or for that matter cut it with a little water or my thinner I make up and brush it. Apple Barrel has an Antique Parchment, they might have a straight parchment too, never looked.

Vallejo has a series of earth tones too I use for canvas and such sometimes. I haven't used enamel on interiors in decades.

Be advised: "Parchment" was a term often used by the automakers back in the day because it sounded richer/more exotic than plain old "white," which it actually was. B)

My dads Ranchero has a parchment seats and doors. It's not exactly white or bright white. Kind of has a tint of tan and green in it.

Put it in a dark colored car and it looks white.

I would think they used an off white to keep from blinding occupants on a bright sunny day!

Parchment was a pretty popular interior color back in the later ‘60s, and as Oldcarfan47 stated, it wasn’t pure white. As a matter of fact, in some cases, there were other variables of white available in the same vehicle. For instance, my 1:1 ‘69 Pontiac Grand Prix was available with either parchment, or pearl, which was a very light bone color like parchment, but with pearl metallic in it.

Antique parchment is very close to ivory, both have some yellow and who knows what else in them ( well probably a hint of blue or green). Parchment is not a pure white, I agree it might look it when paired next to a contrasting color. I started out with antique parchment to mix the color for the wheels on my 31 Ford roadster kit ( to make that creamy yellow they had).
