Thanks.  I appreciate the comment.

Well....after multiple attempts and knocking the tail lights off a couple times I finally go the foil to stick.  Not only was the foil not wanting to stick to the trim it kept tearing when burnishing it down with a Q Tip.  Both sides has a few extra strips where it tore and I had to replace it.  That's as good as it's going to get, I'm not messing with it anymore.  Just found out the hood doesn't fit as good as it did early on.  Not sure what happened but it's a little late now.

Looks awesome Bob. That red really pops. I have not tried bare metal foil yet, still sticking with my silver sharpies.

Thanks James.  The bmf is a little nerve racking to me but I think it looks better than the sharpies I use to use.

I finished all the decals on the body this morning.  To hot in the garage (92 with heat index of 103) so I'm headed in for the day.

Well....I had a major setback this morning.  I worked for a long time this morning trying to get the body to fit down on the chassis and it just did not want to go.  The longer I worked at it the more frustrating it got.  I finally pushed to hard and snapped the rear wheels and brakes, broke the axle, broke off the door panel and I don't know what all else.  I also managed to mess up the paint job and destroy one of the decals.  I gathered up all the parts and threw it all in a plastic tub and kicked it under the work bench.  I am so ticked off .

For those who have not built this kit yet, the paint should be candy red over gold base and a flat black firewall as per a conversation I had with Big John at Indy many years ago.

Dang it Bob, hate to hear that. Take a break for a few days, then get back on it, I'm sure you can fix it.

You’ll get it figured out on another day. When one little thing goes wrong on my builds, I just call it a day and walk away. Sometimes I start another build altogether. Hmmm now I know why I always got 15 builds going on. Still with the set back, you have done a fine job on the Willys.

I found this thread late in the game and had fun catching up... until the end. :(

What a bummer of a finish. Though maybe... hopefully, not the end.

I feel your frustration Bob.
