I guess that is built up pieces of styrene that have been scribed and shaped? Thanks Tom! Stacked and sculpted layers of styrene stock, to be more contemporary... CT
espo Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 Beautiful looking build. I like the stance and something about the understated body color just looks right.

TransAmMike Posted August 7, 2021 Posted August 7, 2021 VERY VERY NICE Claude. The finish on that color is outstanding?

Good idea, I checked it with the Starsky's in my stash, and it would work. Actually, the dash on this 72 IS from S&H. Fits fairly well. CT

Thanks David! I know that we both lean toward subtle colours. I had a 1/1 73 Ranchero, and I painted it with a 71 Caddy Eldo lacquer, "Willow" white. Almos identical. Nostalgia... CT
Koellefornia Kid Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 ´72 is my favourite year for Torinos ( built one 1 1/2 years ago from the same kit)! Very nice work on this one, especially the hood and the interior! Interesting set of wheels, where are they from?

carbuilder1950 Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 @Claude ThibodeauI like the clean unassuming look, with a few things added, a few things removed, and the "just-right-stance," and great wheel and engine choice. Love 'um in the weeds!! Got one of these started in my stash, with an open hood and ready for paint. Love this hobby ?.
thatz4u Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 After seeing this, I may not want to finish mine....

I had a 73 Ranchero in 1976, but to me, the front end of the 72, and the pre 5MPH bumpers are the holy grail of Torinos/Rancheros. CT
