Steve H Posted November 14, 2021 Author Posted November 14, 2021 Hi fellas, this one SHOULD be finished later today. She’s up on all 4’s now! Glass is painted with semi gloss black on the inside. Headlight, driving lights, and taillights were all treated with multiple coats of smoke on the outside. Trim is all Tamiya semi gloss black. The grill is just an old car speaker grill. I had to really fight the urge to put some bright metallic orange on the brake callipers. I think it would have looked awesome, but staying with all black kept it stealth. There are a handful of exterior details to add, finish the exhaust, glue on taillights, licence plate, final wipe down then done! Easy peasy. With the splitter and low stance, the car has quite a NASCAR look to it, so I thought using NASCAR exhaust dumps was a good fit. Tucking it into the rocker panel kept the custom look of the car. Taillight lens isn’t glued on yet. The goal was to have dark tint, but still have a red hue to it and hopefully still see the “reflector” in certain light. Hard to tell in the photo, but it worked!! Molotow pen used for the chrome work in the reflectors. Just needs a quick cleanup before I install lens. Hope to a few final pics here later today… So, part of the reason for this build was to test a few colours and techniques for the next build. Keeping it simple/curbside was to achieve a “look”, but get it done quick so I can get on to this… Thanks for having a look. 1
Mattilacken Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 Epic! Looks terrific! And can’t wait on that camaro!!
misterNNL Posted November 14, 2021 Posted November 14, 2021 I can almost hear "Bad To The Bone" blasting on the sound system.
Steve H Posted November 14, 2021 Author Posted November 14, 2021 Hi fellas, got this finished up a few hours ago. Here’s a couple more pics. It is now posted under glass. I kept the chassis fairly simple, but it still looks the part I think… I added the door handles and the 300c badge that was modded to the side trim. I removed the badge, thinned it and painted it black. I was going to leave the handles off initially, but I’m glad I put them on. Thank you all for your input and comments. I always appreciate the feedback! Cheers, Steve

Hello David, it definitely.has a “deadly” look. If I had done a detail build of this, I would have added a gattling gun to the interior. 23 hours ago, gotnitro? said: Excellent work that looks deadly Thank you Jeff, I appreciate that.
