sidschopshop Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 (edited) This is a truck I built 6 years ago using parts from both the stepside and fleet side kits. I used measurements off a real truck chassis and converted to 1/25 scale. Bed cut apart and the sides extended to 8ft, stepside fenders cut and modified then grafted to match the fleet side contour. Bed then put back together with a wooden bed floor. Edited September 13, 2021 by sidschopshop Too many pictures 2
GRiN Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Now that is cool. The patina look is not my shot of vodka but it works really well here. Gary
espo Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 I like the crew cab conversion and the bed as well. The crusty finish is very realistic looking .
thatz4u Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 I've real trucks that look exactly like that....
iamsuperdan Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Looks great! Lowered duallies just work.

Painted Black Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 You did some nice work on that truck, I think that it would look so much better if the bed were up in the correct postion with the cab.. Well done weathering!!
NOBLNG Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 That turned out great! Really good job on the weathering!?
the goon Posted September 22, 2021 Posted September 22, 2021 I like it. Colors/weathering are great. Mark
