Supernurd Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Vinney's brother got jealous so he went out and got an old race car too. The headlight bezels were long gone so he put a set of 37 Chevy beams in the front cowls since there was plenty of space. Naturally he had to have a quad exhaust too.
Snake45 Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Interesting and imaginative solution to the far-too-small headlights of this wretched old kit. Again, VERY well done and model on!
Jonathan Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 This may be the best headlight treatment I've ever seen for this kit.

Basically this was the lazyman's solution to the alterative of replacing the whole front end. It won't win any awards but looks alright on a shelf.
bisc63 Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Has a real, authentic road racer look, and the color is perfect!
espo Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Great looking Corvette. I like the way you detailed the chassis. The stance and the maroon color look like many old weekend worriers of old.
Supernurd Posted October 23, 2021 Author Posted October 23, 2021 Thanks to all of you! Looking back on it I really should have filled and blended behind the headlight covers. There's no excuse other than laziness. As it sits on the shelf now, I'm done with it.
