For those who may never have seen this kit "in the Wild' so to speak, here are the instructions.

https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/monster-trucks-pull/amt-wild-hoss-ford-/?view=roll

Thanks for posting the box cover and instructions.  Hard to tell how accurate the  standard Bronco steering wheel is, is it the "new for '78" squared off center style or the incorrect carryover '71-'77 smooth center ?

That's supposed to be a 335-Series engine ( 351-C , 351-M , 400 ) ? Looks like the FE from the F-350 Camper Special Pickup to me .

The engine  is for sure new tooling,  a  351M,  or could be a 400 too, same engine family which were new for '77.  Another good upgrade for the  '77+ F 350 Super Camper Special's or the Super Stone version.

Sure glad I resisted putting down serious coin for the Bronco. Almost bid on one a month ago.

So you can thank me for this being re-issued, I bought an open box un-started Wild Hoss kit this summer for $60 thinking they would NEVER re-issue it. It's going to be a tribute build of a friend's Dad's service truck from the 76 station he owned in the 70/80s.

I will be picking up another one or two, along with checking out some tires/wheels from the aftermarket.

I'm hoping this time around they give us a few more choices for the decal graphics. The green is nice but I like the orange. looks great on a black truck. ?

That’s the way it seems to work, right? Happened to me a few times before with some other kits. But, $60 isn’t too bad compared to what I’ve seen them go for. I’m sure we’ll see some good aftermarket parts come out. A tribute build of a service truck sounds like a good plan, I’d enjoy seeing it.

That Decal guy wants 30 euro for those sheets. And another 12.95 for shipping from the Netherlands. I was thinking of getting 2 sets which would put me into the triple digits.  I'm having second thoughts now.

Ray's decals are on the pricey side, no doubt about that, and the overseas shipping just adds to that.  But the quality and extensive details of these sheets do make it worth every dollar, at least in my judgment.   TIM

Yeah, I overpaid for a set on eBay a while back, but the quality is nice and he offers subjects you can't get anywhere else. It's only money, right?

If I remember what he said on here some time ago, he has to go to the U.K. to get them printed.

Too Bad, this Bronco is the Wrong year for a Longmire Build.

The R/M kit and this one bracket the target, but miss on either side of it.

Oh Well......

And for those who'd like a better look at the actual kit, here's mine from the original release from the early '80s.

I've always meant to rebuild it to better standards but never got around to it. But I did manage to get a replacement set of the green stripe decals for it a few years ago.

It's missing a few small parts but it'll give you an idea of that the kit looks like. Only mod I did on this was swap the tires out for the MPC Formula Desert Dogs.

Is the grill open on the Bronco?

Also it looks to have a decent looking 351M engine.

I will need several for sure

Yes it's open and a far better representation of the OEM than the one on the "Firestone Super Stones" F350 Camper Special.

Also, IIRC the grill should fit the pickup. I plan on buying a few of these Broncos and trying to use parts to kitbash a proper F150 dentside pickup without the long wheelbase and the oversized rear wheel openings. Haven't decided on a LWB or SWB yet. ?

Longmire's Bronco , according to IMBD is a '94. The R/M 1/24 bronco is an early '80s so both kits are earlier.

100% agreed. Fortunately I got a few sets before the prices went up B)

Check out MAD resin for a corrected 8ft box and save some work.

Maybe combine an old mpc or revell bronco with an amt '94 lightning?

How do you get on his ebay store? I my search didn't find much.

If you are talking to me, I bought his Indy truck 1994 Lightning decal set. And he doesn't usually have much available on the eBay store.

The easiest way to make a 1:25 ‘92-‘96 Bronco like Walt’s is to play Dr.Frankenstein with an AMT 9th gen F-150 and an MPC ‘80 Bronco. You could always shoot Round2 an email about the possibility of them making such a kit.
