Bob- my trick on hood fit is to tape the hood to the body. Then glue both the radiator shell and body in at the same time. Once in position, tape the hood to the radiator shell as well

Your choice of colors look great on  this , well done !  The hood not fitting happens a lot with these kits , it's easy to overlook during the early stages .  Bet you nail the next one !
