You knocked that puppy right out of the park!!

I wish that I would have taken the extra steps on my '60, but that was some years ago, before I had the confidence to do these kinds of mods.

Fantastic Dodge Bob!

You're father would have had no choice but to be proud!

Looks amazing.  The phoenix and the Lancer are two of the best looking cars of that era.

Thanks Eric !  I agree .  The Polara was also nice but to me it was a little over done .

Your time and effort produced a spectacular build throughout. I also like the vintage photo of your family residence which I'm guessing may have been a newer home at that time.

Thank you Tom !  The photo was taken shortly after moving into the new house . The yard/landscaping was typical of that time in Texas .

Thanks very much Steve , you may have built your '60 years ago but it's still the nicest one around !  I used your photos for reference many times , it was a huge help !

I won't kid you, I was very worried about the cutting up of a very rare (and expensive! I've tried to buy a couple) kit, but I have to say, you did this RIGHT. This is one of the finest curbside models I've seen on this board. No joke.

My grandfather had a 1960 Dart Seneca 2-door. Someday, I may try building one if I can find the 2-door sedan, I believe Modelhuas did one, I know he had a '61.

What did you use for the top?

You and me both !!!  I actually cleared my bench and sat the body right in front where I would stare at it every day , I did that for two weeks before I got up the nerve to start cutting ! Thanks for the comment though I've seen plenty that are much better . The top for my convertible came from the Monogram '59 Impala kit .

I hope you find a 2dr sedan one day or can convert a hardtop , it's a good feeling to build something that has a family history .

I remember following the WIP on this build showing all the time and attention you put into each and every part. The end results are well worth the effort... Absolutely Fabulous!

Beautiful looking car and very nicely built. Outstanding detail, the foil work looks so clean and well done. Wish I could do foil work like that!

Thank you Gareth !  Lots of patience and re-do's to get the foil done .
