I’m calling this one done. Built right of the box with the only add on was that I wired the engine (pre wired distributor)

I wanted it to look like something you would see at World of Wheels show. This is a decent kit, but the rear shocks, tail lights and bumper took some work for my skill level. I don’t like chrome headlights, so I mixed some clear Elmer’s glue with a drop of white paint, and painter them with a toothpick .  I should add that there was a trust to the kit, I did my best to make it work.

  Here are some pics:

Great job on it Chaz!!   If I ever get the paint to match on the flip hood to match the body on mine I'll be posting pics of mine too.

Anyway, I like yours and a very nice color?

Thanks Mike!  I’m happy with the way it turned out

What color did you go with?

Actually 3 colors, red, white and blue pearls. I screwed up the clear on the hood so had to repaint the red and I can't get it to match now even tho its the same paint. Frustrating!!

Nice so far. What's it look like with the front end installed?

The front clip doesn't sit perfectly, but I'll post a pic tonight

Yeah. I've got a few hours in trying to make mine fit right, and I don't have it to my satisfaction yet.

I had the same problem with the Monogram '66 Chevelle and the AMT/MPC '57 Corvette. And I can tell I'm gonna have it with the Monogram '60 Chevy sedan delivery.

Here is a pick with the flip-front down.  I'll probably never display it this way, so its good enough for me....
