Thanks for the link. It looks like they are still making the smaller Desert Dogs. Might have to order a set or 2, Nice steelies also as well as some nice Torq Thrusts. I notice no Goodyear Polyglas. What is it that nobody wants to touch the Polyglas? Licensing costs maybe?

That's pretty much the long and short of it. If you see the thread about the Polyglas tire parts pack overt the the car review section.

if i remember correctly, they were box stock. although it was from the model king version with the trailer and racecar

The Model King version came with the Firestones. The box art builds have the Desert Dogs on all three of them. But, it actually came with the Firestones. It also didn't come with the stripes that are shown on the black version. I was disappointed when I opened mine up.

If it's not from the kit I'm not sure. I never buy aftermarket parts. I had an original wild hoss and the model king. I was taking the best from each kit. I thought they were the same

Yours may have came with the Desert Dogs. There could have been a mid run change or something. Are your tires like these?

I have an original Wild Hoss and a Model King version of the Bronco and they both have the Firestone tires in them. I too was disappointed when I opened the Model King version to find the Firestones but have enough parts kits and aftermarket tires to put almost anything on mine.

Just received my Bronco from Hobbylinc. My body shell and glass pieces look fine. I do have some brown-ish streaks molded in the plastic, almost like the plastic dye wasn’t mixed right. Not a big deal, it will be painted anyway. However, my removable hardtop roof piece is pretty warped. I’ve contacted R2 for a replacement, I’ll update if/when I hear back! If I don’t get a replacement, I guess I’ll glue it in place permanently or just leave it off.

I have the same problem with one of mine. No need to wait for a replacement. They probably won't give you one anyway. Try applying heat from a cheapo hair drier wile bending accordingly.

Yeah I will try that too, the existing roof is workable however annoying that is.

I'm trying to decide if I should paint the grill black. I saw one yesterday and it was black and it looked so much better than the chrome

I actually just heard back! They said they’re going to “process my parts request” but it will take 2-3 weeks. So it sounds like they will replace it.

I had a similar thing. It took what they said. Not a day early but it did arrive. By the time it came I lost interest in the kit

And guaranteed to be as warped as the original because they will not check it before sending it out.

My replacement hardtop showed up today. Only took 10 days, not bad at all. New one fits perfectly too. Looks like Round 2 is doing a better job at making things right, I’m a happy customer!

Got one, the cap was not wrapped, the hood looks slightly wrapped, my issues are, the instruction sheet was a single page, back side blank, I got steps 1 &10 , and missing a vent window .

Will Round2 send you a vent window?

Keep digging in the bag. It may have come off the tree. I just had that happen with the top end on a Revell van. Had to fish the bag out of the trash and there it was.

I doubled checked , didnt see it, but i'll look again, the clear parts bag wasnt completely sealed in a few spots.

Was this model sealed when you bought it? It sounds to me like somebody rifled through it already. As far as the instruction sheet, that sounds really weird but any one of us can just take a picture of the sheet and post it if you need.

Man! Sorry to hear you got such a bogus deal. May I ask who you ordered it from?

A hobby shop via Ebay,  its not their fault Round 2 QC didnt catch the issues with the kit?
