fumi Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 I guess it is a natural after their recent line of Nissan race cars. Finally it is getting kitted. Multiple rally versions guaranteed. http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/product/hc47/ 1
Justin Porter Posted January 7, 2022 Posted January 7, 2022 Genuinely exciting especially considering the standard the R32 GTR and the A70 Supra were done to.
Spottedlaurel Posted January 8, 2022 Posted January 8, 2022 It's great to see what Hasegawa are coming out with at present, they really seem to be on a roll. 1
niteowl7710 Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 Test shot...shots. http://www.hasegawa-model.co.jp/hc47b/ 1

Things that stand out for me are the front lower control arms, the door mirrors, and the rear brakes with their dust shields.

The radiators are a cool touch also on a curbside - the one under the hood (intercooloer?) that you can catch a glimpse of through the hood vents? Cool.
Luc Janssens Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 (edited) IIRC these were marketed as Nissan Sunny in my neck of the woods. Edited January 14, 2022 by Luc Janssens
dbostream Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 I am sorry someone has to say it, there is no engine... Seriously though I think it looks great I want one. Unfortunately Hasegawa kits are usually really expensive where I live. 1
steveracer Posted January 14, 2022 Posted January 14, 2022 Wow, this subject matter is totally unexpected as the car really didn't do much in the WRC back in the day. I believe it was most successful in Belgium - for some weird reason I recall....and maybe GB too in the National championships. Maybe, MAYBE I can be hopeful for a Mazda 323GTX BFMR rally car to be kitted by Hasegawa. I really need one badly!

Of this specific full-tilt boogie Rally homologated car there were 771 sent to Europe. A car was run at limited events in WRC in 1991 & 1992 before factory support was pulled. What you're thinking of via Belgium is the technical support Nissan provided for the Nissan Belgian Rally Team 1992 Gr. N entry for Grégoire de Mevius and Japanese Privateer entry Nishiyama Racing driven by Hiroshi Nishiyama who finished 1st & 2nd respectively in that year's FIA Gr. N Cup. 1
gasman Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 I was hoping it was the Pulsar NX, but oh well

niteowl7710 Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 He wants the N13 Pulsar EXA(NX) which is the 2nd Gen version, the Aoshima (ex-IMAI) kit is the 1st Gen version.
PatW Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 A friend here in the UK who lives nearby ran one as his daily driver for a few years. I look forward to seeing this one.
Rob Hall Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 The style of Pulsar that the Hasegawa kit depicts (N14) wasn't sold in the US, but is apparently related to the early 90s Sentra sold here (N13 generation) and the long forgotten NX2000 of the early 90s. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_NX

I almost bought one about 5 years ago but it showed all the hard miles teenage boys put on a car like that. Edited January 18, 2022 by Erik Smith
