Well it should be the same kit and the impala is a snap kit even though they don’t advertise it on the box. I believe the engine is 6 pieces or so. here is the build thread:

I'll have to pop open the box and take a look. So maybe I will just end up getting the Caprice cop car snap kit anyway. 1

Dtimmerman89 Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Getting a good look at my 60's Bronco before i rip the windshield off and instal the 3d printed frame with wiper motors. I am happy I went with the hot rod inspired interior. 5
Dtimmerman89 Posted May 8 Posted May 8 My 32 tudor chop in the works. I use stretched sprue to fill and then use a homemade tool to make weld beads. 7
Dtimmerman89 Posted May 8 Posted May 8 My biggest project on the table. Ford F250 Ranger Super Modified 4x4 puller. These are set up just like promod drag cars. Blown and methanol injected. No detail will be missed. She is now torn down and being prepped for a wild paint job. Yes, five pedals to control the monster. From left to right, clutch, reverser, LF brake, RF brake, and throttle. I scratch built the rear lift system and hydraulic ram. 7

magicmustang Posted Thursday at 12:52 PM Posted Thursday at 12:52 PM (edited) Been working on a Lola T-70 Spyder being build using a Tamiya 1/24 slot car body. Had an old MPC GT40 chassis, and using the engine, wheels, front and rear suspension from a Gurney Eagle kit. Using Phildaupho's WIP as a guide. Big John Posted Friday at 08:17 PM Posted Friday at 08:17 PM How about a Rear engine 32 Ford? I originally drafted the Hewland bell housing for the Indy DOHC for Mad Mike, imagine my surprise when it matched up perfectly with the Monogram flathead Ford block! Those crazy Ford designers, if it worked in 32 why change it for 64!!! 4
