thanks Carl, in my home town there was a red one and a dark brown one both with cragers and yes, they were both sharp looking.

Those air cleaner decals on late 60's / early 70's can be tricky but it looks like you got yours to lay down nicely. When I first started out in modeling I used thread as for spark plug wires which worked fairly well for a while and then I discovered the material for them from Lex's Scale Modeling. Check it out: Lex's Scale Modeling Detailing Supplies (bravehost.com)
